Terrific New eBook On How To Broil Delicious Foods
Hopefully we’re going to get a summer with weather that hopefully approaches warm weather, and with comes sun, beaches and barbecues. We all love a bbq, but how can we make sure we all enjoy the event and make it go off smoothly?
- Make sure all the food is cooked properly. Its a simple point to remember, but most food poisoning cases occur at bbq when the meat wasnt done properly. The meat may look cooked to perfection on the outside, but if its still pink on the inside, put it back on the grill to cook for longer. Also while were on the point of food, make sure it is defrosted in the fridge for at least 24 hours before the bbq unless you have a microwave that can defrost well.
- Never leave the grill unattended while its on. This is just asking for an accident to happen, as people can fall drunkenly fall into it, the bbq could be knocked over or worst of all -you’ll ending up burning the food.
- Dont use too much lighter fluid. We all love to see the huge flame go up, but if handled wrongly fire can be dangerous, you never need as much lighter fluid as you think to get the job done.
- Have a vegetarian alternative. Its well known, Hitler was a vegetarian, and most of us will reach for the steak before we go for the salad, but are those vegetarian burgers arent really that abd. That way you keep the vegetarians happy, and you know your burger wont be complete with abit of crisp lettuce. Bring vegetables to the table that actually compliment the meat, to make it a more tastier experience and add abit of colour to the plate.
- Plan ahead for the upcoming event. What will the weather be on the day, how many people are roughly coming down, who cant eat meat -these be the questions that you need answers to before the day. Theres no point in stocking up on alcohol if everyones’ gonna be driving down, or doing it when its raining.
Dont fancy doing it yourself and want some outside catering for your bbq, or just private catering for a special event?
