First of all, there is the stomach discomfort you get when you consume a a food that gives you acid reflux, and then there is the burning feeling in the esophagus as the reflux travels up the esophagus towards the mouth, where it can burn the back of the throat too. Then there are the disturbed nights caused by the stomach fluids going up the esophagus as you try to rest. It’s an unpleasant feeling that’s for sure, and there are so many more people affected by it these days too. So how can you stop your acid reflux? Well the obvious thing is to stop eating the foods that affect you, probably things like pizza which has both tomato sauce and lots of grease, both of which can produce more stomach acid than you actually need. Of course, not everyone needs to avoid all the same foods, some people have trouble with almonds, while others find almonds are beneficial for helping control their acid reflux. Garlic is another of the foods that helps some, but causes reflux in others. There is something for you to think about, and that is ending your acid reflux once and for all time. This can be achieved with food combining – I know I use it. Yes, there is a growing number of people who have ended their acid reflux, along with other health problems by food combining. Consider this I never eat fruit with anything other than fruit. By doing this I have stopped my acid reflux by food combining, and I now tuck in to bananas which I never could before because of chronic indigestion. By food combining, I have also stopped acid reflux prescription medications – I no longer need then. Now there are groups of foods that you can eat together, like meats and vegetables, salads with meat etc. You might be surprised to hear that this is not just some strange idea suggested to see how many people they can get to use. The food combining diet is based on the science of digesting food, and the digestive juices that the stomach secretes to digest fruit and all the other things we send down into our stomachs. The science tells us that fruits need different enzymes than proteins to digest, so to make the stomach’s job easier, if we only give it foods that need the same enzymes to be digested, the stomach doesn’t have to work as hard. The difficulty starts when we eat foods that need different digestive juices. The stomach struggles to digest it because of the conflict, and as a result it does a bad job with it all and we end up with acid reflux and stomach ache. Now there are volumes written on the topic of food combining, like stick to small meals frequently rather than one or two large meals so that your stomach doesn’t have to cope with large amounts of anything, and we probably all know how much easier our stomachs feel if we don’t overfill them. There is plenty more that can be said about combining foods, and what foods can be eaten at the same time, and which should never end up in the stomach together, but I think it’s only fair to direct you to an expert, one who has helped hundreds of others cure their acid reflux by food combining, and a lot more besides – just go to cure acid reflux simply by food combining.
